A young FBI agent infiltrates an extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes he suspects of masterminding a string of unprecedented, sophisticated corporate heists. A former extreme sports athlete, Johnny Utah, joins the FBI. While not even a full agent, he is sent to infiltrate a gang of extreme sports athletes who are attempting a series of death-defying challenges called the Ozaki 8. They use the challenges as a front to pull off daring robberies and are lead by the charismatic, fearless Bodhi. Had their been even a decent plot in the movie this would have been the coolest movie for summer 2016. The music, scenery and actions are the only factors why I'm rating this 7/10. Please hire some good screenwriters for movies Hollywood, getting really tired of your half-baked "sith" for 15 years now. I hope Keanu Reeves doesn't watch this…. or even the whole crew from the 1991 movie. If you watched the end scene of this movie you'd literally be making a "whattttt" face as if you had wasted 2 hours of your life. And now after a fair warning I'm going to go cry in the shower and remember the first movie's awesomeness. Also, let's all pray Hollywood doesn't ruin anymore 90's movie for us like it did with this one. Was scared to watch it being a huge fan of the original. But they surprised me. liked the cast. Couple far fetched scenes but what do you expect. i can hardly get through a fast and furious film cause its too much, this wasnt some how for me…enjoyable to watch, once again, in 3D. It takes a very special director to make scenes of sky-diving, free climbing, big-wave surfing and BASE jumping something to yawn at. Yet Ericson Core must be that kind of miracle worker, because Point Break, his update of the 1991 cult classic, is basically a cavalcade of extreme sports, but with less drama than a highlight reel.
